Why is Elon Musk on drugs?

Drugs are often nothing new to super successful people. Big names like Barack Obama, George Soros, Michael Bloomberg and Richard Branson all make it to the list of the moguls that have admitted to trying drugs in their younger days.
However stakeholders to the billionaire’s companies, are worried about Elon Musk’s use because it neither trying nor in the past. While Elon Musk oversees a handful of multibillion dollar companies, the prominent ones being Tesla, SpaceX and X, formerly known as Twitter, he has reportedly used LSD, cocaine, ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms. Witnesses from the private events of occurrence had left their phones on entrance as required for security reasons.
The legal implications of using these drugs could easily send the value of SpaceX, as it is highly dependent on government contracts. Linda Johnson Rice, a former Tesla director even left the board out of frustration of Elon’s erratic drug use as reported in the Wall Street Journal. Apart from legalities, close friends and acquaintances worry for Elon’s health.
Is Elon Musk a stoner ?
In 2018, a video surfaced of Musk’s smoking weed on the Joe Rogan show resulting in a crackdown on SpaceX employees who had to undergo tests for drugs. He did comment afterward that though he has used it, he doesn’t think it’s good for productivity.
Those around him seem to have always known that he uses drugs. However the federal contracts that SpaceX depends on are written in stone and do not allow for any use of illegal drugs. And so are the policies at Tesla and X.
The billion dollar question
The piece of the puzzle that shareholders have not yet found, is whether Elon’s unusual behavior is the cause of the influence of drugs or something more natural like deprivation of sleep. Musk has confirmed that he is bipolar and in 2021 also said he was autistic. In 2023 Elon said he had prescription for ketamine which he had described as zombifying and effective in dealing with depression prior. Whether the overall use is under control or highly concerning is open for comment from Elon, but certainly shareholders are concerned and an intervention may be on the way.
